Performing aboard Crystal Serenity
Here is a glimpse into my experience appearing on Crystal Cruises.
I can’t remember the last time I performed on a cruise ship. We traveled across Europe—France, Spain, and Portugal, all the way up to Finland, Sweden, and Norway—where I experienced the phenomenon of endless daylight.
This time felt entirely different. I was invited to appear on Crystal Cruises, more specifically on Crystal Serenity, as we traveled through the Caribbean.
The act I presented at the Galaxy Lounge was partially based on my work from the Masters of Illusion TV show. It was carefully adapted to fit the 500-seat theater.
Together with Broadway magician Joseph Gabriel, we also presented several large-scale illusions.

The week was structured around individual performances, each presented on a different evening. In addition to our own illusion show, the Galaxy Lounge featured Mark Kalin & Jinger, as well as The Secret Class, a one-man theater show by Mark Haslam.
Beyond the Galaxy Lounge, guests aboard Crystal Serenity could also experience more intimate performances by Armando Lucero and Eric Stevens, along with magic classes led by Luna Shimada.
